I downloaded Lingokids kind of on a whim, i didn’t expect much because my daughter usually gets bored of apps so fast. But she keeps asking to play this one. She loves the songs and games, and I love that she’s actually learning without me having to nudge her the whole time.

The billing was actually clear, and there weren’t any surprise charges, which is how it should always be. It’s ridiculous that so many companies make this part confusing on purpose, but thankfully these guys didn’t pull that nonsense

I signed up for a Lingokids subscription the price feels fair. My little one uses it all the time, so it doesn’t feel like one of those apps you pay for and forget about 😅 It’s also easy to manage or cancel, which I really appreciate. With all the games and lessons included, I’m happy with it 👍

We use Lingokids a few times a week, and for the most part it’s been a solid app. The videos load fast, and my kid can usually switch between games without needing me to step in, which I really appreciate. The only thing that gets annoying is that the app freezes for a few seconds sometimes, especially after an update or when moving to a new activity. It’s not the end of the world, but in those moments I feel kind of trapped just staring at the screen with my kid asking what’s wrong. Overall, it’s dependable most days and we still use it regularly. I’d give it 4 stars because it works well, just not perfectly.

My kid liked it a lot, which is always a win for me. I actually mentioned it to a friend too since her child is around the same age and I think they might enjoy it as well.

My kid uses it every single day, so it feels worth paying for. If something actually keeps them engaged that often, why not??

I like that I can set limits and see what my kid is doing on their device. I was a little confused at first about where everything was, but once I poked around a bit, it made screen time feel a lot less stressful.

Just a heads up, this seems like it’s definitely better suited for younger kids. My 4-year-old enjoyed it and stayed interested, but my 7-year-old got bored quickly. I’d be careful buying it if you’re hoping it’ll keep older kids entertained for long.

Lingokids has been a nice little add-on for my son, especially because he genuinely enjoys the songs and games. I felt happy seeing him pick up a few English words on his own without me needing to push him, and that made the app feel worthwhile to me.

At the same time, after using it for a while, it started to feel a bit repetitive, and some activities didn’t seem as helpful as I hoped. I wouldn’t depend on it as the main way for him to learn, but for extra practice here and there, it’s okay. For me, 3 stars feels fair.

I really like that the lessons are broken into small little parts. My kid doesn’t seem to get bored as quickly, and they can usually figure out what comes next without me having to explain every single thing. The songs, the games, then a bit of practice... it just flows nicely. It’s made learning English feel a lot less stressful for both of us, honestly.

I ended up canceling my lingokids subscription, and it was mostly straightforward. I did spend a few minutes poking around trying to find the right page, which was a little annoying, but once I got there, everything went through fine. I got the confirmation email right after, so no worries there. I do think the cancel button could be easier to spot... kind of like when you’re looking for your keys and they’re somehow right in front of you. But overall, no big issue in the end

Quick warning to other parents: if you try Lingokids, don’t be surprised when your kid starts repeating random words and songs out of nowhere. My 5-year-old has been using it for a few months, and I can genuinely see a difference. He picks up words from the songs and even uses little phrases when we’re playing together. It doesn’t feel like a boring lesson, so he sticks with it longer than I expected. Some days he even asks for it on his own, which says a lot.

My kid loves the games on this. He keeps asking to play after dinner, usually while I’m trying to clean up the kitchen and the dog is barking at nothing. It’s been a fun little way to keep him busy, and he seems genuinely excited every time he finds a new game to try.

I got this to help limit my kid’s screen time, and so far it’s been useful. I wasn’t totally sure at first if it would actually make a difference, or if I was just overthinking how much time they were spending on devices, but it has helped keep things more under control. It’s not some magic fix or anything, but it does make setting limits a lot easier.

I have to say, the characters are absolutely adorable. Like, I started watching/playing just to check it out for a bit, and somehow ended up getting attached way faster than I expected. They’ve got that cute little charm that makes you smile without even realizing it. Also, side note, I was supposed to be doing laundry at the time and completely forgot about it, so that’s on me. But yeah, the characters really make the whole thing feel warm and fun.

I had a small billing issue and reached out to support. They got back to me in maybe an hour or so and had it fixed by the end of the day. Really appreciated how quick and easy it was.

I’ve been using Lingokids with my son and overall it’s been a good experience. The privacy side seems mostly fine, and the app does explain why it needs certain info, which I appreciated. I haven’t noticed any strange ads or spammy emails either. That said, after I paid, I started feeling a bit less trusting and found myself double-checking what I’d agreed to and where the settings were. I wish the privacy and account settings were easier to find and understand. Still giving it 4 stars because it feels safe enough and my son enjoys it, but I’d feel better if everything was a little more transparent after payment.

The progress tracking is really simple, but it’s actually useful in a way I didn’t expect. I kind of regret not paying attention to it earlier because it would’ve made staying on top of things a lot easier...

My kid does enjoy using it, so I’ll give it credit for that. But the app can be slow sometimes, and the menus aren’t always easy to figure out. I end up tapping around a few times just to find what I’m looking for. It’s not terrible, but it definitely feels like it needs some polishing. I haven’t bothered reaching out to customer service because, i don’t have a ton of faith they’d be much help
